Sarvodaya College of Pharmacy, Azamgarh: Admission, Courses, Fees, Placements

Sarvodaya College of Pharmacy, situated in Azamgarh, Uttar Pradesh, is one of the affiliated college for pharmacy education. Set with the aim to start a pharmacy college and with a mission of developing quality human resources through pharmacy education, the college offers both diploma and degree in pharmacy. It is affiliated with the AICTE and the PCI of India thus proving a standard education in the field of pharma. The college has a faculty of 6 members and this gives the college the resources to give each and every students its full attention hence allowing the college to transform the lives of its student in the course of pharmacy. 

Sarvodaya College of Pharmacy also has various features that may supplement learning among the students in the college. The laboratories are fitted with several machines as used in the pharmaceutical manufacturing companies, the tablet punching machines, the coating as well as the polishing pans, friability testers, and dissolution tests apparatus. Such exposure to items used in industries is very important in the real sense because it makes the students to prepare for the next step after school. In the library, the adequately equipped with state of art furniture, has a large stock of text books, reference books and reputed journals, magazine etc. are available to the students to carry out their academic tasks effectively. Every corner of the whole campus has Wi-Fi connection and the students are able to access internet from everywhere within the compound with high speeds for researching and online learning. 

Sarvodaya College of Pharmacy consists of two courses related to the field of pharmacy. Diploma in Pharmacy (D.Pharma) is a diploma course for the pharmacy field which is of two years full time duration and has an approved intake capacity of 60. The B.Pharma programme is of four years’ full time duration and the code number and intake capacity for this course is not available. The current two programmes will offer the student a sound pharmaceutical sciences training preparing them for employment in different sectors of the pharmacy industry. 

The admission policies at Sarvodaya College of Pharmacy do not contain confusing steps since the college wanted to provide opportunities to the young generation interested in pharmacy. The college also offers hostel accommodation to students who require it  for both male and female students that the college is pleased to offer comfortable accommodation for, especially those coming from different parts of the country. Also the college has buses and cabs for conveyance of students and staff from places like Charkhi Dadri and other adjoining areas because the college supports day scholar as well.
