Sasmira's Institute of Commerce and Science, Mumbai: Admission, Courses, Fees, Placements

SASMIRA’s Institute of Commerce and Science, established in the year 2016, was set up in Worli, Mumbai. This affiliated college has a wide spread undergraduate programmes in Commerce and Science discipline. The institute occupies an area of 2.9 acres and thus, it is convenient with 496 students enroled. Gender distribution of students is almost equal: 292 male students and 282 female students. SASMIRA’s Institute of Commerce and Science aims at providing improved quality education through 26 dedicated faculties and the college is offering four undergraduate courses under three degree courses. 

The institute is aware of the fact and provides state of art facility for the students comfort. The well equipped library perform the function of a knowledge centre where the students get exposure to a number of academic resources. For those who are interested in sport and exercises, SASMIRA’s Institute has well equipped sports facilities. This particular auditorium is used for conventions and seminars among others as such improves the lifestyles of the learners. SASMIRA’s Institute of Commerce and Science offer a total of four undergraduate courses and each of these programmes’ duration is three years. These programmes adapt to different learners’ academic needs in specialisations within Commerce and Information Technology. The institute has a total of 240 students intake approved for all its courses to fight student inadequate and offer quality education. The intake capacity of each course is 60 students to assure effective learning space for students.

As for the vast majority of the courses, admission can be obtained in terms of academic ability or entrance test results with seats being the determining factor. The institute implements policies in accordance with University of Mumbai as well as Government of Maharashtra.
