Sat Priya School of Architecture and Design was established in the year 2009 in Rohtak in the state of Haryana. This affiliated college offers a range of courses to help students develop into future architects and designers. SPSAD sprawls over a lush 25-acre campus providing a considerably comfortable setting where learning and creativity can be groomed. The total student ennrolment is 44, supported by a faculty of 24 members. It provides two under graduate programmes and one postgraduate programme oriented towards diversified interests within the branch of architecture and design. SPSAD takes pride in a host of facilities which would substantiate the learning experience for its students.
Sat Priya School of Architecture and Design boast of separate, fully furnished hostels for boys and girls with inverter power backup and well-maintained furniture. A power gym, equipped with the latest modern machines, is also provided for fitness freaks. College Library The college library is well stocked, having over 3,200 books, textbooks, reference materials, journals, and magazines in the field of architecture and design. For game enthusiasts, the college takes proper care by providing spacious playgrounds for games such as hockey, football, cricket, basketball, volleyball, tennis, and table tennis. Moreover, the institute is well-equipped with fully air-conditioned, state-of-the-art computer laboratories fitted with the latest hardware and software to keep the students abreast with the ever-changing technological face of the field. SPSAD offers three courses on a full-time scale.
It offers two B.Arch programmes: B.Arch in Building Construction and B.Arch in Interior Design, both consisting of 40 seats. More than that, SPSAD also offers a Master of Architecture course. The curriculum is designed in such a manner that students are well-rounded with knowledge and understanding of architectural principles and design techniques as well as practical skills applied in the industry. Emphasis of the institute on specialised areas like building construction and interior design help enable the student to build expertise in their respective area of study.
Admission to UG Programmes in B.Arch: As admission is given on ND basis along with ND merit score of NATA Examination. The Institute quite actively participates in online and off-campus counselling which is performed by HSTES for 75% of sanctioned seat matrix. Directly, the institution fills the remaining 25% of seats. Dual Approach makes the selection process quite just and diversified. The basis of admission in the school is dependent on the test result of the National Aptitude Test in Architecture (NATA). Candidates seeking admission to undergraduate programs should have passed a 10+2 examination from any board considered equivalent mainstream education. These include Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics in their respective subjects studied at 10+2 levels. It is the course that has 44 lumps across its courses, thus making the admission process a bit tougher. NATA is one of the main entrance examinations acknowledged by SPSAD for B.Arch admissions. This examination tests the drawing and aesthetic sensitivity ability of a candidate and mathematics as well as general aptitude knowledge among the subjects of study. Application Process
The application process for Sat Priya School of Architecture and Design, Rohtak, goes through the following steps:
1. NATA Registration and Examination: Candidates are required to register themselves for the NATA examination through the official NATA website. Candidates must sit for the exam at the date scheduled and obtain valid NATA scores.
2. HSTES Counseling Registration: For 75% of admissions made by HSTES, students must register for an online counseling process wherein they fill an application form, pay a fee, and upload documents in order to complete qualification for the counseling session.
3. Merit List Generation: In determining the merit of candidates under HSTES, the NATA scores would be the basis of evaluation.
4. Seat Allotment: On the basis of merit rank, preferences, and availability of seats, all candidates' allotments will be carried out in rounds of counseling.

Admission Process Degree Wise
B.Arch Building Construction: The permitted intake for this program is 40 seats. Admission to this program is made through inter-merit among the NATA scores. For the initial 75% of the sanctioned number of seats, admission is made through online and off-campus counselling by the Haryana State Technical Education Society (HSTES). The remaining 25% of seats are filled directly by the institution.
B.Arch Interior Design: Similar to all courses on the agenda of Building Construction, there are also 40 seats available for admission into this course. The only stream of admission is NATA-based, namely HSTES, for counseling for 75% of the seats. The rest is by the institute by itself.
M.Arch: There has been a Master of Architecture program at SPSAD. Specifics of the Process for Admission to M.Arch, have not, however, made the record for reference from the information available.
