Sathya Degree & P.G College for boys and girls was started in the year 1997 at Vizianagaram of Andhra Pradesh. This affiliated college provides a wide variety of undergraduate and postgraduate courses and programs in total, there are 9 courses of 5 types of degrees. The college has a faculty of 26 teachers, to 1158 students total, 740 male students in the college and 418 female students. The Sathya Degree and PG College offer science groups namely Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry, Computer Science, Botany, Zoology, Commerce, History, Economics, Political Science and Business Administration. The college has determined it needs to play its part and ensure a sound learning environment for the students. 

It provides basic services for academic endeavors and the general well being of students. Library is a repository of information whereby students can find almost all the resources they require for coursework or research. Concerning practical learning, the college has well equipped departmental laboratories offering practical experience of various fields of study to the students. Being aware of the significance of technology in present day education, the college has focused on having an efficient IT facility to help students achieve improved features of the gadgets that they use in their college learning process. 

The college teaches a wide variety of programs; it offers both degree and postgraduate degree programs. Full time undergraduate courses offered include 8 while for postgraduate there is only 1 course offered. Students pursuing the B.Sc. at the undergraduate level are offered various programs such as Mathematics/Physics/Chemistry, Mathematics/Physics/Computer Science, Botany/Zoology/Chemistry, Mathematics/Chemistry/Computer Science. Besides, the college provides B.Com, B.Com Vocational, BA History Economics and Political Science, BBA courses. In postgraduate, the college offers an M.Sc. in Organic Chemistry. Though, there is no fixed student capacity per course this college had total enrolment of 1,097 Undergraduate students and 61 Postgraduate students in the 2022 academic session.

Sathya Degree and PG College admission procedure is in accordance with the norms laid by Andhra University. The college strives to achieve the best possible enrolment rates amongst its students for all the courses that it offers. Here, it is important to note that the college is very much inclined toward local students as 100% of both the undergraduates and postgraduates are from Andhra Pradesh state.
