Sathyasai B.Ed College is a new era college started in the year 2007, positioned at Avadi, Chennai, Tamil Nadu. This co educational college is situated in a small area of 0.915 acres of land and is completely focused to prepare future educators. Recognised by the National Council for Teacher Education [NCTE], Sathyasai B.Ed College comprises of various common courses related to teacher training. Shridhar compile a total student intake of 231 & faculty of 41 students which reflect that our college has a healthy student teacher ratio so that they can provide proper personal attention & quality education.

To support the various needs or the college strives to offer a number of facilities that are of great benefit to the students. These are complemented by a well-stocked library with 5,976 books, 36 journals and 27 magazines for efficient learning resource. There is modern Information Technology facilities in campus, this help teach the student on modern developments in education. 

Sathyasai B.Ed College also budgets facilities of sports and gym for those pupils who should be physically as well as academically developed. The college also has an auditorium for occasions and seminars, and thus, encouraging an active college experience. For student teachers, laboratories for practice are well-equipped; additionally, in the camp there is a health centre with means for first aid. This is a place where students and other learners come together to eat and also interact socially; there are guest facilities for lodged faculty and family.

Sathyasai B.Ed College provides four full time programs under three courses in all aspects of teacher training. The college offers programs such as B.Ed, B.Sc B.Ed, BA B.Ed, M.Ed; and in total offers 350 seats for the courses. These programs are meant to prepare students for obtaining professional knowledge and skills that enable them to succeed in the school as teachers and having the opportunity to combine theory with practice.
