Sau Leena Kishor Mamidvar Institute of Management Studies and Research was established Chandrapur, Maharashtra, 1988. This co-educational institute spread over a campus of 1.1 acres is an affiliated college that got the approval of the All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE) and got accreditation from National Assessment and Accreditation Council (NAAC). The institute conducts a Master of Business Administration (MBA) course, targeting management education. The student enrolment is 503 students. The faculty consists of 18 members.

Modern sports facilities, a cafeteria, and separate hostel accommodations are provided for boys and girls. It makes comfortable living for out-of-town students. The campus is Wi-Fi enabled so as to keep everyone connected. The institute provides postgraduate education in management for out-of-town students.

The institute has an approved intake of 180 seats for its full-time MBA programme. It is a two-year programme, and an ideal tool that enables students to acquire the knowledge and skills needed to thrive in the dynamic world of business management. Its curriculum is wholesome, thus equipping students with all management studies aspects and preparing them for any leadership role in diverse industries.

Sau Leena Kishor Mamidvar Institute of Management Studies and Research admits students into the MBA programme through a competitive and rigorous process. The student needs to appear for any one of the recognised entrance tests in Maharashtra: MAH MBA CET, MAT, or CAT, which check the aptitude and preparedness of a candidate for management studies.
