Sau Shantidevi Chavan Institute of Engineering and Technology Polytechnic was established in the year 2008. It is an affiliated college located in Chalisgaon, Maharashtra. This institute, spread across a 10-acre campus, got its approval from the All India Council for Technical Education. This polytechnic has an enrolment of 442 students in total and 41 faculties, offering four diploma programs in engineering disciplines. 

All kinds of facilities for the overall development of students are available in the institute. Sau Shantidevi Chavan Institute of Engineering and Technology Polytechnic offers four full-time diploma programs in engineering, each with a duration of three years. The programmes include the Diploma in Mechanical Engineering, Civil Engineering, Electronics and Telecommunication Engineering, and Computer Engineering. All the courses have been designed with a view to providing the students with a strong base in the respective fields with practical inputs. 

The admission procedure at Sau Shantidevi Chavan Institute of Engineering and Technology Polytechnic is conceptualized and structured to make it easier for the aspiring students to get admission to the same. It considers admission on the basis of the students' performance in their 10th standard examinations or relevant entrance tests. The institute has to follow the instructions of the Maharashtra State Board of Technical Education (MSBTE) for its admission process.
