Savitri Devi Shankar Lal Mahavidyalaya, Allahabad: Admission, Courses, Fees, Placements

Located at Allahabad, in the state of Uttar Pradesh, Savitri Devi Shankar Lal Mahavidyalaya has been imparting education since its date of inception in 2004. This co-educational college is an affiliated institution working under the approval of National Council for Teacher Education, NCTE, New Delhi. The institution at Mandawa Karchhana offers two courses at the undergraduate level: Bachelor of Arts and Bachelor of Education. The institute has a strength of 10 dedicated faculty members who are committed to imparting quality education to their students. The infrastructure in the college ranges from facilities for learning to the overall development of students.

As far as the academic curriculum is concerned, the college offers two full-time courses. The UG course in BA is a three-year course with the manifold objective of providing students with a broad-based education in Humanities and Social Sciences. The B.Ed. course is of two years duration, aimed at turning out teachers fit for their responsibilities in the future. 

Admission to the various courses at Savitri Devi Shankar Lal Mahavidyalaya follows a unique process for every program. Admission to the B.Ed. course is based on merit, taking into account marks in the qualifying examination and/or entrance examination. The college follows the state government and affiliated university policies regarding its selection process.
