Sawkar Pharmacy College, Satara was established in the year 2003. The affiliated college is located in Jaitapur, Maharashtra. This institute imparts pharmaceutical education and is approved by the Pharmacy Council of India, catering to co-educational needs. The campus covering an area of 5.12 acres is compact, providing an ambiance of learning focused towards budding pharmacists. The program has a sanctioned intake of 60 students per year, allowing it to cater to the needs of only a very limited number of students. This has therefore made it possible to have individualized teaching in order to serve the resources of the college best. The one programme that the college provides also means that it can only be such a focused curriculum under its helm, which ultimately means that all students get the knowledge and practical skills for their career in pharmacy.
