SCAD Institute of Technology (SCADIT) was started in 2012 and it is an Affiliated College, situated in Tirupur,Tamil Nadu. Located in a vast area of 600 acres, SCADIT provides all branches of engineering for intending students. The institute currently covers 317 students and total 33 faculty members. SCADIT haspects itself in having equal ratio of male and female students with 197 male students and 134 female students. Five undergraduate engineering programmes are presented at the college: all of them are full-time programmes and last for four years. Being a young institution, SCADIT aims at offering quality technical education to produce engineer of the future in India.

SCAD Institute of Technology also has numerous facilities that supplement learning and general development of the institute’s students at their disposal. Each school can boast of qualified laboratories that are an essential part of the departments themselves and offer practical training to the learners. The major computer centre is a modern 3 resource center which has about 300 connections to the campus LAN. According to language proficiency, SCADIT has equipped the English Language Laboratory to enhance students’ language proficiency skills. College library is an important institution which contains a wide range of books mainly science and engineering and other general subjects. It is an automated system with easy to use software and the system of transaction includes barcodes . SCAD Institute of Technology currently offers five engineering programmes. There are BE Civil Engineering, BE Computer Science and Engineering, BE Electrical and Electronics Engineering, BE Electronics and Communication Engineering and BE Mechanical Engineering. All these programmes are full time and the period of study is four years.
