School of Distance Education, Jiwaji University, Gwalior was established in 1964. The university strives to create knowledge, to open the minds of students to the knowledge, and to enable students to take the best advantage of their educational opportunities through distance education. Postgraduate programmes are offered by the Jiwaji University Distance Education.

The courses are MBA, MBA Rural Technology and Management and MBA Chemical Sales and Marketing Management. Admission into these courses is given based on valid CUET PG scores or the entrance exam conducted by the other relevant authority of the university or government authority. School of Distance Education is a government centre of the Jiwaji University, Gwalior.
