School of Engineering and Technology is affiliated with the Mody University of Science and Technology in Lakshmangarh of district Rajasamand of Rajasthan. This institute was started in the year 1998 and is serving the cause of Technical Education for more than two decades. As it operates on the national level, courses offered by the school are approved by the All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE). Being a faculty of 116 members, institute offers 5 degree programmes comprising 19 courses in the different field of engineering. The campus is located on National Highway-11 and has been designed to make sure the comfort of learning and is a women-centric institution that empowers itself with technical education exclusively for female students.
School of Engineering and Technology has various sufficient facilities in today’s aspect all aiming to make the learning process of the students better. As one of the important units of academic facilities, the library has stock of over 64,948 volumes, 13,545 e-books besides being the member of 161 national and international journals. IEEE, EBSCO and J-Gate are the e-journals and database access of the students allowing them to have a through research. The campus facilities include efficient physics, chemistry as well as medical and computer laboratories, IT facilities, and spacious auditorium with the accommodation of 1,040 people to conduct events and seminars. For complete personality development of the students, the institute has facility of indoor games, a gymnasium, and a health club. Girls hostel provides reasonable number of accommodation and services such as internet service, canteen, and transport services make a favourable environment in the campus.
This school focuses on offering a students’ union of engineering and technology including numerous courses to meet various student needs. The institute offers 19 programmes where the programs include the full-time undergraduate, postgraduate, and Doctor of Philosophy programmes. Of these, 4 are B.Tech programmes in Electronics and Communication Engineering, Electrical, Mechanical Engineering, etc. while there are 3 M.Tech programmes in VLSI etc., MCA, BCA and several Ph.D. specialisations in Mechanical Engineering etc. engineering streams. The B.Tech in Computer Science and Engineering is rather unique with the highest admission capacity of 240 students, effectively showing the increasing importance of its relevance.

The School of Engineering and Technology in Lakshmangarh, under Mody University of Science and Technology, offers a comprehensive range of undergraduate, postgraduate, and doctoral programs in different engineering disciplines, this women's institution has considered the mission to empower women with technical education.
Generally, the institute begins its admission process in August-September for the corresponding academic year. B. Tech graduates were admitted on the basis of their performance in the Joint Entrance Examination (JEE Main) and ranks attained in state-level engineering entrance tests besides the institute's tests and exam, MUSAT (Mody University's Engineering Entrance Test).
For M.Tech admissions, the admission of students to the postgraduate programs is based on the Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering (GATE) score. Such candidates are given preference over others, with a possibility of being exempted from the written test by the institute. The final ultimate selection for M.Tech usually takes place based on the written test followed by interviews.
Merit in the 10+2 examination from a recognized institution may be had with the following subjects: Physics, Mathematics, and Chemistry for admission to undergraduate programs. Most courses require a minimum aggregate of at least 50% in the qualifying examination.
Application Process
The application mode differs according to the program. For the B.Tech programs,
1. Qualified JEE Main or any state-level engineering entrance examination or MUSAT
2. Apply through the official website or admission portal of the institute.
3. Fill out the application form and pay the required application fee.
4. Submit all the relevant documents such as 10+2 mark sheets, entrance examination score card, and any other certificates.
5. Shortlisted candidates are likely to be called for any further rounds.
For M.Tech programs, the following is needed:

3. Filling up of the M.Tech application and payment of the application fee.

For Ph.D. programs:

Degree wise Admission Process
B.Tech: The B.Tech program comprises Computer Science and Engineering, Electronics and Communications Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, and software development. The admissions are subject to merit as evaluated by the applicants' rank in JEE Main, any State Level Engineering Entrance Test, or MUSAT. That makes Computer Science and Engineering the field with the highest intake, with 240 seats.
M.Tech: The School Provides none other than M.Tech in Computer Science and Engineering, VLSI, and Nuclear Science and Technology. Admissions would mainly depend on GATE scores and a subsequent written test and/or interview. GATE-qualified candidates will be preferred and may be exempted from the written test.
MCA: Master of Computer Applications course having 60 seats. If details of admissions are not stated hereunder, perhaps on the basis of relevant entrance exam or merit in the qualifying degree.
BCA: Bachelor of Computer Applications, while specific admission details are not mentioned (above).
Ph.D: Doctoral programmes under various engineering disciplines including Computer Science, Electronics and Communications, Electrical, Mechanical, and Nuclear Science and Technology are offered. College Infrastructure
Good campus, good infrastructure, hostel and classrooms well maintained with the cleaning of hostels almost everyday when you are available in room and wifi is also working and with good speed conenction in both college and hostel premises, basically overall campus. Shuttle facility to commute from hostel lane to college building or main gate etc
