School of Engineering & Technology, Nagaland University, Dimapur, which was established in the year 2007 is on par with other university level schools/colleges of engineering technology in the country and is offering a wide range of undergraduate and post graduate programmes in engineering disciplines. This particular institute is situated in Astdree Hub, Dimapur, Nagaland, and has been the institution responsible for the nurturing of young engineers for more than ten years. The All India Council for Technical Education recognised institute, provides various specialisations of B.Tech that compete in accordance with the industry requirements. There are 18 well-qualified members in the faculty that helps the institute maintain a good student-teacher ratio encouraging one on one interaction.

School of Engineering & Technology provides complete engineering studies that are fundamentally full time specialisation. The institute provides seven programmes with B.Tech in Agricultural Engineering, Computer Science, Electronics and communication Engineering-industry integrated, Information Technology, PhD in Biotechnology and so on. All these programmes are well planned to encompass all sub specialties in the field of engineering so as to allow the students have an option to specialise in their area of preferences. The capacity of the institute remains the same to the intake of 30 students for most of its programmes which makes the learning environment effective enough for providing individual focused attention to the students.
