School of Engineering, Sri Satya Sai University of Technology and Medical Sciences, Sehore (SSSUTMS) is one of the leading Institute of higher education was established in the year of 1999. Situated in Sehore, Madhya Pradesh the institute offers a wide variety of technical and professional courses. SSSUTMS has affiliation from the All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE) and here the quality education parameter is maintained. The faculty strength of the institute still stands at 322 members although it offer 24 courses falling under four degree levels. Being primarily an engineering university with a minor focus on management and computer applications, SSSUTMS offers education for students interested in numerous disciplines while guaranteeing them successful employment in the technical sphere.

The infrastructure of SSSUTMS includes all that is necessary for comfortable learning and development of the students. The institute has different hostels for boys and girls with 252 and 100 bed strengths respectively. Each hostel is fully an autonomous unit with reading room, indoor games room, dining and computer room etc. It has a central library and eighteen constituent libraries indeed in the providing reference books, text books and International journals. For health care needs, medical care facilities are available on the campus including operating, private duty, and in-patient departments. It has a fleet of twenty-five buses for transporting students and staff from the Bhopal and Sehore.

SSSUTMS can enrol students for a variety of programmes across disciplines. The institute offers 11 BE programmes; the most sought after disciplines are Civil Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Computer Science and Engineering. For postgraduate students there are ten Masters of Technology (M.Tech) programmes which include areas such as Computer Science and Engineering, Digital Communication and Power Electronics. In addition, MBA and MCA courses are provided to begin with for management and computer applications respectively. BE programmes can have an intake of 180 with minor programme while for most of the M.Tech programmes the intake is limited to 18 students per programme.

The admission process of SSSUTMS is followed regulated by the University Regulatory Authority of Madhya Pradesh and as per the recommendation of the State Government. The procedure followed by the institute for admission to its technical and its various professional courses arestandardised. Admission is done based on the qualifying examinations and probably state or national entrance tests.
