The School of Environment and Architecture, Mumbai, was established in the year 2014; hence, it is a relatively young institution that has quickly left its stamp on the field of architectural education. This affiliated college, situated in Borivali West, is approved by the Council of Architecture, which aims at maintaining high standards of education. The institute offers a five-year undergraduate degree in Bachelor of Architecture (B.Arch) with special emphasis on the environment. It has a compact campus area of 0.4942 acres, with an enrolment capacity of 199 students and a faculty of 14, making it an intimate setting. 

The School of Environment and Architecture rightly boasts of the state-of-the-art facilities provided to students in pursuit of learning. The college library is a veritable treasure house of knowledge, stocking a vast array of books and periodicals relating to architecture, design, art, technology, landscape, history, philosophy, sociology, and literature. The library, with its inviting timings from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM on weekdays and Saturday, provides ample access to students. Laboratories and workshops are well-equipped, amply reflecting the hands-on approach of this premier institute. The strategic locating of the material lab, survey levelling lab, and carpentry workshops has been done on the ground floor and close to the outdoor courts. This allows students to move easily from theoretical work to practice. The IT infrastructure reinforces this pedagogical philosophy by helping students become conversant with the latest computer programs used in contemporary architectural design. It has sports facilities and a canteen for relaxation and social purposes, hence offering a balanced atmosphere for the growth of the individual and academics. 

Currently, one flagship program is offered by the School of Environment and Architecture: the B.Arch. This is an intensive five-year full-time course with an approved intake of 40 students per year, ensuring personalised attention and quality education. The course design delivers the fundamentals of architectural principles while underscoring environmental considerations in design.

The admission procedure for B.Arch is based on the centralised admission procedure adopted by the state. Prospective students have to necessarily register with the Directorate of Technical Education / State CET Cell for the Centralised Admission Procedure. Institute accepts the scores of the National Aptitude Test in Architecture (NATA), that is a standardised test used to assess a candidate's aptitude for architectural studies. This makes sure that the admitted students have the basic skills and creativity necessary for the strenuous B.Arch course.
