The School of Juridical Science, JIS University, Kolkata was established in 2014. The college has approval from the UGC (University Grants Commission). The BCI also approves the legal courses here, (Bar Council of India), SJSJU Kolkata offers, BBA LLB, LLB, LLM, and PGD in the stream of Law.

SJSJU Kolkata LLB admissions are given based on merit scores. LLM admissions are given based on LLB degree scores.
