Situated in one of the oldest cities of India, Gwalior, of the state of Madhya Pradesh, this university is solely focused on Library and Information Science. The school is located at Vikrant University and it is also located at Chittora Road. Degree wise Admission Process

B.Lib.I.Sc: It is a one-year course. This is given to those who want to specialize in library science. Candidates who have already passed their undergraduate courses and are interested in specializing in library and information science are admitted to the course.

M. Lib. I. Sc. Master of Library and Information Science: For those intending to carry out advanced studies in this field, a one-year course is available. The normal minimum eligibility shall include a degree in B. Lib. I. Sc or equivalent.

Ph.D in Library and Information Science: This is a research-oriented course, which may take approximately six years to complete. Its objective is to let the applicant gain expertise in the subject matter and present himself/herself as a contributor in academic research. There may be a stringent examination regarding critical review of the proposal for research and the candidate's academic record.
