24 MonthsMaster of Business Administration in Operations Management is a two-year full-time course offered by School of Management, Dr DY Patil University, Navi Mumbai.
Operations Management deals with the design and management of products, processes, services and supply chains. It considers the acquisition, development, and utilization of resources that the organization needs to deliver the goods and services their clients want. Our objective in this course is to introduce the concepts and techniques related to the design, planning, control, and improvement of manufacturing and service operations. The course begins with a holistic view of operations, where we stress the coordination of Six Sigma quality, Project management, Technology management, and Supply chain management. As the course progresses, we will investigate various aspects of each of these three tiers of operations in detail. We will cover topics in the areas of TQM, Advanced materials management, production planning with ERP, quality improvement, and Quantitative Techniques.
A candidate must have passed the Bachelor’s Degree in any discipline with minimum 50% Marks from any recognized university.
The Eligible candidate has to take a common entrance exam conducted by the DYPUSM and commonly referred to as DYPCT. The Candidate has than to sit for Group Discussion and a Personal Interview.
