School of Mines KGF, Kolar, is a first grade technical institution, established in 1957, and is situated in Kolar Gold Fields, Karnataka. This affiliated college recognised by the All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE), is specialised in giving mining and engineering courses. The institute is located on a large plot of 25 acres of land and has an ability to cater to a student enrolment of 290 with faculties comprising of 14 members. The School of Mines KGF offers three diploma courses in Mining and Mine Surveying, Computer Science and Engineering, Mechanical Engineering. The institute focus on industry oriented course structure performs a significant role in direction and development of minerals and engineering professionals in India.

School of Mines KGF has other facilities that enrich students modern facilities that facilitate learning as follows.
