School of Natural and Applied Science is affiliated with Vikrant University, Gwalior, Madhya Pradesh, India. This is relatively a young university, which was initiated in the year 2022, with the major aim of improving the delivery of science knowledge as well as promoting scientific discovery. As a constituent college of Vikrant University, it provides a wide variety of programmes in natural and applied sciences. The school is located in Chittora road, Gwalior, and provides 19 courses at 3 levels of degrees, which proves the Institution goals of offering diverse education focuses on the scientific field.

School of Natural and Applied Science has a variety of equipments whose purpose is to improve the learning environment of the learners. The college library is another important facility of the college as it possesses numerous source of knowledge for students. Adavnced laboratories exist for various departments where practical session is essential for every scientific course. It also values technological enhancement and the institution provides the best IT system. Sports facilities and a gym for student recreation and for health conscious student are located within the school compound. The college has also provisions for an auditorium that is efficiently used for holding events and seminars, as well as promoting an active academic environment. A cafeteria is a place where learners can eat, and at the same time, socialise with their counterparts. In doing so, the school has the provision of boys’ hostel and girls hostel so that out–station students can have comfortable stay there. This campus has internet through wireless connection, and it makes it easy to have internet connection for learning purposes. Also, there is a health centre providing emergency first-aid in case through the students and teachers will have any health issues.

School of Natural and Applied Science is a school responsible for offering a variety of courses in the various categories of higher education learning. The institution offers 19 courses at the undergraduate, postgraduate and doctoral level and diploma courses. Some of these are full time programmes in Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics, Biology and Biotechnology. At the undergraduate level students can choose between B.Sc curricula in Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry, Biology, and Biotechnology. The postgraduate programmes comprises of M.Sc in Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics and Bio-Technology. For those willing to take it further more, the school has PhD in Biotechnology, Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics. Further, diploma courses in specialised fields of First Aid Treatment, Health and Sanitation, and Community Medical Service and Essential Drugs are offered in the institution.

The admission therefore of the SNAS, Vikrant University is holistic and based on merit. In general, it can be assumed that admissions to the undergraduate courses are introduced on the basis of the 10+2 or equivalent examination performed by the candidates with science background. The basic requirement for postgraduate programmes is a relevant first degree in science but this should be completed by further relevant science degrees for certain candidates. M.Phil and Ph.D. are admission tests along with interviews to judge the aptitude towards research. There is evidence that the diploma courses have more flexible entry requirements than the university degrees. They include but not limited to performance in the previous academic year, entrance test results where available, interviews where necessary.
