School of Pharmaceutical Sciences and Technologies, Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University, Kakinada (JNTUK) was founded in the year 2008. Operating from the campus of Kakinada in Andhra Pradesh, this pharmacy education college is an affiliate institute. AICTE as well as PCI have approved the institute so that there is a high order of education. The school is on a compact campus of 0.57 acres, offering 4 courses across 2-degree programmes focusing on undergraduate and postgraduate studies in pharmacy.

The School of Pharmaceutical Sciences and Technologies offers four pharmacy education courses aggregately on a full-time basis. Through the Undergraduate and Postgraduate courses, specialisations offered in B.Pharma and M.Pharma comprise Pharmaceutical Analysis, Pharmaceutics, and Pharmacology. The capacity intake for B.Pharma is 60 seats. The total seats for M.Pharma are 105 as each programme is of 15 seats. All programmes are designed to provide a sound background in pharmaceutical sciences that will qualify the graduate for careers in the pharmaceutical industry, research, and academia.

The School of Pharmaceutical Sciences and Technologies very well designs its competitive admission process. The admissions to the B.Pharma programme would be made through the Convener, EAMCET, Government of Andhra Pradesh. Applications from such students would be entertained only when they qualify in the EAMCET examination. In the case of post graduate programmes, admissions would be handled by the Convener, PGECET, Government of Andhra Pradesh.
