SCPM Ayurvedic Medical College and Hospital, Gonda: Admission, Courses, Fees, Placements

SCPM Ayurvedic Medical College & Hospital is a newly formed in the year 2017 and is situated in Gonda, Utter Pradesh. This assisted co- educational college is located in 25 acre with the teaching-faculty of Ayurveda aim to provide quality education in the degree of Bachelor of Ayurvedic Medicine and Surgery. It is affiliated to a bigger institution, and therefore, acts as a conduit through which the broader institution’s curriculum standards and quality are imposed. As of now, the institute has a total of 271 students, and members of the faculty are 45, which allows 6 students per teacher, a perfect quantity for learning processes.

The college boasts of its fine infrastructure needed to enhance the learning processes of students studying to be Ayurvedic experts. The laboratories provided with all necessary essentials as per the norms of CCIM and having all necessary equipment by which the students can perform certain experiments related to their course. The college library, sufficiently named as the “Ocean of Knowledge,”soaks 5,632 books and 15 varieties of journals both on Ayurveda as well as the Allopathy system of treatment. SCPM Ayurvedic MC and Hospital offers a detailed undergraduate course called Bachelor of Ayurvedic Medicine and Surgery (BAMS). This programme has a full course duration of six years and is conducted full time for a student intake of one hundred students per year and for each academic year. Currently, the program was developed to offer its participants substantive knowledge of Ayurveda concepts and practices augmented by the current medical science. That case, the college established good course structure that comprises of theory and practical to enhance the students’ education.
