SCS College of Nursing Sciences, Mangalore, that was founded in 1994 and is one of the most reputed colleges offering nursing education in the Karnataka state, India. An Indian Nursing Council-approved institution, SCS College of Nursing Sciences, offers a number of undergraduate and postgraduate programmes in nursing. The campus has sporting amenities and an assembled performance hall inclusive of events as well as seminars. The college has a canteen for sometime provision for staff and students and transport to make commuting accessible for all the learners.
SCS College of Nursing Sciences has developed a programme portfolio that recognises a range of careers in the health care field. Full-time courses offered by the institute include 6 complete courses offering undergraduate and postgraduate grees. Undergraduate level, the college offers B.Sc. Nursing of 4-years education with a capacity of 60 and Post Basic B.Sc. Nursing of 2-years with a capacity of 30. For those that wish to further their training, the college provides four M.Sc. Nursing courses, which take 2 years to complete. These are M.Sc. in Paediatric Nursing, Medical Surgical Nursing, Obstetrics and Gynaecology Nursing and Psychiatric Nursing, with the following capacities: 5-6 for each speciality. The total intake that has been approved in all the courses offered is 112 seats, thus giving many chances for nursing students to join and achieve their aims.
