SD College of Education, Bhiwani, was started in the year 2008 with a co-educational and Vpo. Isharwal, Tehsil Tosham, Bhiwani, Haryana. This is an affiliated college approved by NCTE, New Delhi. The campus area covers 1 acres, with the institution presently having 200 students on board and a strength of 8 faculty members. SD College of Education has only one course in teacher education to empower innovating future teachers.

Different facilities are provided to the students in SD College of Education so that they can experience a very enriching learning process. Very well-stocked library is available for the students so that required resources are available for them to attain academic growth. Consequently, laboratories departmental-based exist in the college so that the theoretical learning can be practiced through actual experiments. The campus contains a gym for those students who are fit physically. Sports facilities are provided so that students can develop sporting interests in order to maintain a proper balance between study and sports. It also has some of the excellent infrastructures in IT so that the students get equipped with modern tools of education.

Courses available at SD College of Education include only one full-time course, which is B.Ed. programme. It is a two-year programme with an approved intake of 100 seats and this would ensure that the atmosphere remains focused and quality-driven.

Admissions are strictly merit based as mandated by the State Government, UT Administration, and the affiliating University. Merit shall be considered purely based on the performance of the qualifying examination, that is either the 12th pass result or any other equivalent qualification. Admission may also consider scores of entrance examinations or any selection process prescribed by the governing bodies in a few cases.
