SD Mewat Institute of Engineering and Technology Technical Campus, Mewat was set up in the year 2011 and is an affiliated college. The institute covers an area of 5 acres. This institute which is AICTE-approved offers various programs in the Engineering field. SDMIET-TC has a faculty strength of 76 who impart knowledge to students in various streams.

SDMIET-TC caters to a wide range of facilities that look to infuse new dimensions in the learning process of students. The library, one of the cardinal sources for learning, possesses over 15,000 textbooks, reference books, and journals. This is supplemented by multimedia packages. Labs, well-equipped for hands-on learning, are available in the institute; it also features a state-of-the-art computer laboratory with 225 PC nodes, backed by the latest software. The physics laboratory is well equipped and furnished for practical classes and may be used for innovative project work by students. Other facilities offered are a spacious canteen, indoor and outdoor games facilities along with a gymnasium for physical fitness development. Wi-Fi connections have been enabled across the campus to facilitate digital learning by the students.

The institute boasts engineering courses under the various streams it offers to help cater to the interests of its large student populace. SDMIET-TC offers 5 B.Tech programmes, 4 Diploma courses, and 2 M.Tech specializations. 

The admission procedure in SDMIET-TC majorly revolves around national level entrance exams. For B.Tech programs, the widely followed entrance is JEE Main.
