SD Polytechnic, Muzaffarnagar, established in 2001, is an affiliated college in Uttar Pradesh, India. It is a technical institution approved by AICTE. The institution proffers a range of diploma engineering programs with 95 faculty members by offering quality education to the students. The campus for it is at Jansath Road, Sahawali.

Facilities for Enhanced Learning It also flaunts a number of facilities that make the learning process easy and convenient for students. The institute has separate hostels for boys and girls to make living arrangements comfortable for students who are coming from outside the station. The college maintains a richly stocked library of thousands of books on diverse technical fields and their related branches. It also offers a subscription to national and international journals, magazines, and newspapers for the update of research and development. The institute has departmental laboratories where the student hands are sought to be exposed to practical experience pertaining to their department of study. It has a well-equipped medical facility along with appointed permanent and visiting doctors ensuring the health and wellbeing of the student community. 

SD Polytechnic offers a total of five full-time diploma courses. All of its programmes are regular programmes at present; there are no part-time programmes or online programmes or certification programs available. These five diploma courses have approved intakes for each at 60 students and thus give a cumulative intake of 300 students in all programmes. The five courses cut across engineering disciplines of choice by equipping the students with relevant knowledge, know-how, and skills in their chosen fields.
