SDJP Mahavidyalaya, Ambedkar Nagar: Admission, Courses, Fees, Placements

Established in 2013, SDJP Mahavidyalaya is an affiliated college under Ambedkar Nagar, Uttar Pradesh. Situated on a compact 2.518 acres campus, this institution offers a number of undergraduate and diploma programMEs. The college is approved by the National Council for Teacher Education and assures quality education in its teacher training programmes. With an enrolment of 997 students and a faculty of 16, the SDJP Mahavidyalaya provides an intense academic environment. The four single programmes being offered are B.Ed, B.A, B.Sc, and D.El.Ed, which aid for the different needs of those interested in Education, Arts, and Sciences.

The facilities offered by SDJP Mahavidyalaya are broad and meant to facilitate student learning. The college library is the academic resource centre, and it supports students while they engage in research or studies. It equips the institution to use departmental laboratories to provide hands-on learning by giving students practical experience in their area of specialisation. SDJP Mahavidyalaya offers four courses, which are all full-time courses. These include two undergraduate programmes B.A., B.Sc., B.Ed., and a diploma course in Elementary Education, D.El.Ed. The B.Ed. is a two-year course. Intake allotted for the course is 50. The B.A. and B.Sc. are three-year courses, while D.El.Ed is a two-year diploma course. Though total seats in B.A., B.Sc., D.El.Ed. 

The admission process in the SDJP Mahavidyalaya depends upon the programmes. For the B.Ed. and D.El.Ed. programmes admission is strictly merit-based. In these merit lists, marks are taken into consideration from qualifying examinations and entrance examinations for admission purposes. The college does follow the policies set by the state government and UT administration as well as the affiliated university on its selection process.
