SDPS Women’s College, Indore was set up in the year 2008 and is a women affiliated college, situated in Indore, Madhya Pradesh. Located on a 2.5 acre space, the institution admits only female students and provides 10 diverse courses in 8 programmes. The college is recognized by National Council for Teacher Education (NCTE), Indian nursing council (INC) n the council of architecture. There is a total student intake of 306 and 13 faculty members make SDPS Women’s College to be an institution focused in producing young women with knowledge, skills and education for various fields such as education, commerce, nurse, designers and architects.

SDPS Women’s College has set up various amenities that are useful in the college learning exercise for the learners. A library with adequate facilities is of paramount importance in the store house of knowledge; and information technology equipment enhance abilities to be in par with latest technologies. The campus consists of air-cool classrooms with adequate sitting arrangement for the comfort of the students to enable learning process. For other co curricular activities the college has sports and games facility and also an auditorium for conducting events and seminars. There is a girls hostel for out station students are there and hostel has standard facilities to live comfortably where health and safety of students are secured. This college also has a health center with first aid facilities to complete the welfare of its students. A cafeteria is also present to provide food needs of both teachers and students to allow the community feel on campus.

All together, SDPS Women’s College has ten full time courses in different fields. These are Professional Programmes like B.Ed, B.Arch, B.Des in Interior Design, B.Design in Fashion Design; Traditional courses including B.Com(Hons), B.Com (Computer Applications), BBA. Two other health faculties being offered by the college are B.Sc Nursing and ANM which stands for Auxiliary Nurse Midwifery. The total approved intake for all courses are 702 seats, and it means that ample number of opportunities for female candidates to follow their dream course.

The admission procedure in SDPS Women’s College differs from course to course. Generally, the percentage in the qualifying examinations forms the basis of direct admission to most programmes. However, for certain programmes such as B.Arch the admission is through national level entrance test like NATA (National Aptitude Test in Architecture or JEE Mains). The B.Ed programme offered in the college has a seating capacity of one hundred and admission is direct, based on percentage. It is recommended that various and specific dates of interest to a prospective student be obtained from the college website or the admission office since they could vary from one year to another. They also have training and placement cell to help students to get trained and placed through campus interviews to arrange future employment for the students passing out of the college. Though, it is impossible to get the details of the scholarships provided, due to the colleges policy on women education it is believable that it supports women who want to be professional in all fields.
