Seema Dental College and Hospital is one of the leading dental colleges in Rishikesh, Uttarakhand. It was established in the year 2002. It is an affiliated college, approved by the DCI, New Delhi. It offers various programs in dentistry within the 5.7-acre campus. SDCH Rishikesh has a total student enrolment of 401 and a faculty strength of 188. The college is co-educational, with a student body comprising 116 male and 387 female students.

 The different fields of dentistry the college provides studying in are Conservative Dentistry, Prosthodontics, Orthodontics, and Periodontics. SDCH offers an array of facilities for promoting students in both their academic activities and extracurricular activities. The campus comprises of modern air-conditioned classrooms, including state-of-the-art audio facilities, and computers with internet facilities. The well-stocked library consists of books, journals, and other study materials published by national and international publishers. It has separate sections for lending, textbooks, general reference, and periodicals. 

The library has also equipped computer and internet facilities and audiovisual facilities. For providing accommodation facilities to students, SDCH provides separate air-conditioned hostels for boys and girls. For both single and twin-sharing options, hostels are available. Each room is provided with a telephone, a computer, an internet connection, and attached bathrooms with a 24-hour supply of hot and cold water. The college also maintains a modern gymnasium, sports facilities for both indoor games and outdoor games, a swimming pool, and a canteen for the students and the staff. 

SDCH Rishikesh offers a total of 8 courses: undergraduate and postgraduate. The BDS undergraduate program is of a full-time duration: 5 years, with 100 seats in the intake. At the post-graduation level, there is specialization in Conservative Dentistry and Endodontics, Prosthodontics and Crown and Bridge, Orthodontics, Oral Medicine and Radiology, Periodontics, Oral Pathology and Microbiology, and Paedodontics; all programs are of a time period of 3 years. 

Admission in SDCH, Rishikesh is strictly merit-based and uniform. It is mandatory for candidates who wish to pursue the BDS course to successfully clear the NEET examination. The Uttarakhand Government organizes online counseling for all eligible candidates after the declaration of the NEET result for admission to BDS. For postgraduate-level MDS programs, one has to appear and qualify for the National Eligibility cum Entrance Test for PG (NEET-MDS).
