Sekhawati Mahila Shikshak Prashikshan Mahavidyalaya is an affiliated college run from Sikar, Rajasthan since 2006. This women institution approved under section 2(f) of the NCTE Act, 1993, is specially dedicated to teacher education. The college is located on a premises of 1.25 acre of land and extends services to 129 students and 8 faculties. There being only one degree programme offered by the institute, it offer the B.Ed programme with an approved admission capacity of one hundred students, aimed at producing competent teachers of the future generation.

Sekhawati Mahila Shikshak Prashikshan Mahavidyalaya has many amenities to help improve learning environment and personal growth of the students. Two school based laboratories – Science & Mathematics Each of them is equipped with all the necessary requirements to teach students with diverse abilities and needs. Main Library – Approximately 4,000 text books and reference books are available in a well equipped library for pre-service teachers. The institution boasts of having effective teaching facilities including Science, Computer and Psychology Laboratories for practicals. Concerning physical fitness and play, the college has a well-equipped sports room, and large playgrounds to accommodate athletic, basketball, cricket, volley development, and etc. An auditorium supports an event and seminar to enhance the academic culture. For students’ health, the college has a first aid, and amazingly, it has a gym where the gym lovers can work out.

Sekhawati Mahila Shikshak Prashikshan Mahavidyalaya has only one full time course for its students which is the B.Ed programme . This is a two year degree which is expected to equip student with teaching profession with a total of one hundred teaching places.
