Selvam College of Technology Namakkal was started in the year 2006 and is a self financing engineering and management college. Accredited by All India Council for Technical Education New Delhi and affiliated to Anna University Chennai this co-educational institute is in Tamil Nadu. The college occupies a large piece of land of 13.82 acres and is accredited by NAAC. The roll strength is 1,997 and faculty strength is 114 with the Institute offering 14 courses spread across three levels of degrees. The student population is made up of; Male students 63% Female students 37%. This is a state funded university and therefore the students 100% originate from within the state.
