Servite College of Education for Women located at Thogaimazai, Karur was started in the year 2005 is specifically for women. Designed for the future educators, this affiliated college occupies a campus of 6 acres of area. Affiliated to the Karnataka University and accredited by National Assessment and Accreditation Council (NAAC) approved by the National Council for Teacher Education (NCTE) B.L.D.E.A’s Bellary offers quality education in the field of teaching. The enrolment of total students is 168 and the faculty members are 16 in number, which contribute in providing personal attention as well as proper atmosphere for learning in the institute.

This has been through provision of several facilities that can improve the college educational experience of students. A well equipped library is a place where books on education and related field including journal, periodicals, newspapers are stored. The facility of a computerised catalog system includes easy availability of learning resources. Further, the facility includes specific learning laboratories such as Biology, Computer Science Laboratory, and Educational Laboratory. It has a complimentary IT structure with 31 computerised having LAN connectivity and multimedia addend with internet. The campus also includes a fully remodeled auditorium to hold more than 500 students common for college events and ceremonies.

Servite College of Education for Women has a more specialised courses offer with it core course being B.Ed program. It has a planned enrollment of one hundred students and is a two-year full time course therefore we wish to maintain a standard student instructor ration. B.ED program is structured with a desire to produce qualified teachers, who will adequately equip the students with knowledge and practical experience required in the current teaching practices.
