Situated in the magnificent city of Chittoor, Andhra Pradesh the Seshachala Institute of Management Studies, has been producing successful management professionals since its inception in 2003. Situated on Tirupati Chennai Highway in Kanakampalem Village, this affiliated college has made an exposure for its unique identity in the field of management education. Recognised by the All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE), SIMS functions from a tightly knit 1-acre plot which in a way gives students best of the learning environment. Today it has total enrolment of 211 students and a total faculty of 18 which prove that the institute has a very low student-teacher ratio which is highly desirable for students to get personal attention and better quality education. 

Seshachala Institute of Management Studies has first-class facilities in the provision of quality education to learners in SIMS. The institute has a large library that provides knowledge to those wishing to become managers. To cater with the fast growing business environment, SIMS has ensured good IT facilities so that the students can have the technological requirements to match the business environment. The college also provide ultra-modern laboratories to meet with practical or first-hand experiences in line with the modern world. In the aspect of the integrated development of students, SIMS provides sports facilities to show students to balance between work and play. Campus Auditorium: as an event hall, and seminar venue coupled with cultural and other activities creates and augmented campus life. 

The MBA programme is the core activity of SIMS, and it is from this platform that the institute has built its academic structure. This is a full-time two-year course which is intended to educate students to get knowledge and develop skills necessary to work in the company. The programme-approved intake is 180 seats and is aimed at aspiring managers and other categories of learners. 

The admission process in SIMS is very competitive yet very simple. Still the institute uses mainly the Andhra Pradesh Integrated Common Entrance Test (APICET) scores, a test conducted for admission into MBA courses in the state of Andhra Pradesh. Intending candidates should monitor the APICET exam dates and follow the admission process of SIMS keenly.
