Seth Gyaniram Bansidhar Podar College Jhunjhunu was founded in 1942 it is one of the prominent co-educational institution situated in the Rajasthan of India. The college is an affiliated college located in a 7.404 acre area and which has recently got accredited by the NAAC. The college has a total student population of 1,584 students and a faculty of 45 to teach 21courses split over eightdegree programs. The student body comprises 80% undergraduate and 20% postgraduate students, with a gender ratio of 2:1 (male to female). Its specialisations and composition of arts, commerce and science give the college a distinct character operating both on a full time and part time basis.

It boasts of own facilities that are modern and developed to provide specific improvement to each student. The library which is one of the oldest and richest libraries of Rajasthan has its collection of 75000 books, rare books collections, encyclopedia and dictionaries. It also takes many newspapers, magazines and journals on subscription. The college has two highly equipped computer labs which are centrally air-conditioned, specifically designed with modern facilities having Wipro Evolve processors and free internet facility using WI-Fi 24/7. For the sport lovers the college offers good sports facility and Gym. It also has separate hostels for boys and girls to enhance out of town students stay in a comfortable environment.

Seth Gyaniram Bansidhar Podar College provides courses in all fields of education and provides all general education courses. The college offers twenty- one programs of study out of which it offers nineteen undergraduate and two postgraduate programmes. The undergraduate programs include the following popular demand courses namely; B.A, B.Com, B.Sc(groups Maths & Bio), BCA, BBA. College provide following postgraduate courses M.A. in different subjects M.Com in different specializations M.Sc in different science subjects.
