The Shadab College of Education Srinagar, in the union territory of Jammu and Kashmir has been set up in 2003 as recognises pivotal entity in moulding the future of educational system in the state. Srinagar based co-educational college, it is placed in Dangarpora Malla Bagh over a total area of 3.75 Acres favors education aspirants. It is accredited from the National Assessment and Accreditation Council (NAAC), which makes college a symbol of quality.

Shadab College of Education gives two B. Ed courses to its students as full time programmes. The flagship course is the two-year Bachelor of Education B.Ed. for which Utkal University has an approved intake of 443 seats. Besides, the college offers two years of Diploma in Elementary Education D. El. Ed. course.

The course fee for Shadab College of Education subjects is based on admission criteria that includes the scores made on qualifying and/or entrance exams. Admission in the B.Ed programme is done as per a set pattern proposed by the state government/ UT administration and the affiliated university.
