The Shaheed Baba Deep Singh College of Nursing, Fatehabad, was established in the year 2006 and is one of the famous nursing education institutions in Haryana, India. This co-educational college was affiliated to an educational society that has been continuously endeavouring to mould the future of students who are in pursuit of a nursing profession. This institution comes under the recognition of the Indian Nursing Council (INC) and offers various programs in the field of nursing, in a time when the world is suffering from an ever-increasing shortage of health care professionals. Shaheed Baba Deep Singh College of Nursing offers numerous nursing programs at different levels of education. The institution offers 6 courses at 3 different degree levels: all full-time programs. This includes the 4-year B.Sc Nursing program, the 2-year Post Basic B.Sc Nursing course meant for registered nurses intending to upgrade their qualifications; the 3-year General Nursing and Midwifery diploma; and the Auxiliary Nurse Midwife course for 2 years. At the postgraduate level, the M.Sc. courses occur in specialised subjects like Paediatric Nursing and Child Health Nursing. The approved intake for these courses will differ accordingly 40 seats for B.Sc. Nursing, GNM, and ANM 20 for Post Basic B.Sc. Nursing and 5 each for the M.Sc. programs.
