Shaheed Sheikh Bhikhari College of Education is situated in Ranchi, Jharkhand and it is exclusively college for teachers training. This college is co-educational and has been set up in the year 2012, and for the last eleven years, it has been training educators for the future. Located in Sutiyambe, Pithoria Kanke the college is spread over an area of 1 acre approximately. Being an affiliated college, it works under the certification of the National Council for Teacher Education (NCTE) thus follows all the norm set by the council in the field of teacher education. Currently the college has a student population of 177 and has a teaching staff of 16 thereby affording a sound student teacher ratio.

This is a two-year full-time course which was approved to admit one hundred students enrolment ration across the country. The course leads to certification of competent teachers who will be equipped with a B.Ed, hence satisfying the course aim and objective. At the moment the college offers only one degree programme , however the programme is structured well and incorporates different aspects of education and teaching methodologies.
