Shail Institute of Nursing is one of the self-finance institutes located in Lucknow and has been providing education in nursing since 2009. The institute is housed in Swatika city, Sultanpur Road, Ahmamau, Lucknow, of 0.52 acres in area. This co-educational institution affiliated with the Indian Nursing Council (INC) offers two specialisations in nursing. The overall student capacity of the institute is 192; the faculty members are 17 in number, which keeps the learning process more targeted.

It offers a 2-year Auxiliary Nurse Midwifery course and a 3-year General Nursing and Midwifery course. Both courses are full-time and, as the name implies, prepare students for nursing practice through practice and theory. The overall approved capacity for each course is 40, and that makes the total capacity for both programmes 80 students per year.
