Located at Parvati Nagar, Lakhanpur, Munger, the Shakuni Choudhary College of Education was started in the year 2017. This co-educational college offers a focused environment to aspiring educators on a 1-acre campus. This is an affiliated college approved by the National Council for Teacher Education (NCTE) with an enrolment of 352 students in the two different programs, and it has a very good student-faculty ratio with 32 faculty members.

Shakuni Choudhary College of Education offers two regular courses: B.Ed and D.El.Ed, both extending over two years. This ensures individual attention and quality education to all its students. 

The admission to Shakuni Choudhary College of Education shall be based on merit, by considering the marks obtained at the qualifying examination and/or entrance examination. The admission policy of the state government and the affiliated university is adopted in the college. The candidate shall be admitted to the B.Ed course only when the admission selection process and criteria are as per the university guidelines. The admission to D.El.Ed. course is on merit and governed by the policies of the state government or UT administration.
