Shamm-E-Husaini institute of nursing college was started in 2008, which is in Ghazipur, Uttar Pradesh, and it is Independent institute. This institution is a co-educational one and has the main mission to develop professional staff of the healthcare system with the emphasis on nursing. As a nursing college recognised by the Indian Nursing Council (INC) the college provides various nursing and health science education. The institute is capable of admitting 271 students in total across the courses offered and currently it has 26 faculty members. College offers six course spread across two degree level such as GNM, ANM and B.Sc Nursing and other. 

The institute possesses all necessary resources to meet the students’ academic and personal needs. The campus has two hostel sections that are dedicated to only boys and girls, so out-station students have a comfortable place to live. To facilitate academic activities, the college has a good library taken with modern laboratory facilities to enable the students. The interfaces are designed to ensure digital learning and information technology while the auditorium provides space for several occasions and seminar. Students’ physical fitness may be upheld in the gym facility set within the compound and in other sporting activities. The college provides refreshments in form of meals through a cafeteria while the health centre with first aid facilities. Shamm-E-Husaini Institute of Nursing College has a plethora of full time courses in the field of nursing and health sciences. The institute's academic portfolio includes six programmes: Greater recognition can be given to the following courses. GNM (General Nursing and Midwifery), ANM (Auxiliary Nurse Midwife), B.Sc. Nursing, Diploma in Anesthesia, Diploma in Emergency, and Diploma in Physiotherapy. These programmes are designed to address all the subategories of health care so that students are given chance to focus on their areas of concentration.
