Though SHMTTC is a relatively young institution, shaping output of holistic teachers since 2015, Shamshul Haque Memorial Teacher Training College (SHMTTC) is a co-educational institution situated in Dhanbad, Jharkhand. This affiliated college is approved by National Council for Teacher Education (NCTE) and teaches only teacher education courses. The common period for the entrance exam for the admission in B.Ed is in the early June, the latest being June 6- 9. It is mandatory for the students who wish to be enrolled to clear the minimum eligibility marks in this entrance exam. After the examination the Merit list is prepared based on the counseling process of the candidates who are available for the exam. Another recommendable effort that SHMTTC undertakes to assist those wanting to pursue their studies is the conduct of mock examination to prepare the candidates for the real examination.
