Shanmuganathan Engineering College (SEC), was set up in the year 2001, is an engineering college in the village of Thirumayam in the district of Sivagangai, Tamil Nadu. Bachelor and Master in engineering is available at SEC which is associated with Anna University, Chennai. The facility of the college consists of the area of 25 acres and it is NAAC accredited. SEC also has a total student enrolment of 567 and faculty of 55 which makes a good technical education environment is provided to all students.
The following are some of the outstanding facilities provided by SEC Thirumayam to improve student’s friendly environment. The campus has distinctly built spacious and comfortable hostels for boys and girls with facilities like respective medical services, gymnasiums, and yoga centres. college also has a library spread over an area of 50000sqft and offers a collection of over 60000 books,and other learning resources to the students.
