Shanti Amar Singh College of Education Pratapgarh, U.P was established in year 2017 thus it can be termed as nascent institution geared towards preparing teachers. This coeducational college is situated at Bubupur Katara, Sangipur, Pratapgarh, Uttar Pradesh, and is an affiliated college recognised by the NCTE. It is an extremely small campus in total area of 1 acres and is currently accredited to enrol 86 total students. 

Shanti Amar Singh College of Education Pratapgarh has a variety of facilities with the aim of improving the comfort of studies of students. The campus has a fully endowed Health and Physical Education Resource Centre that consists of a Physical Education room, Health Centre and multipurpose playgrounds. The intended purpose of these facilities is to enhance the efficiency and all round development of pupil-teachers. For academic purposes, the college has departmental-based laboratories and a library to assist student’s practical as well as theoretical practical knowledge. The institution also values technological development through a fully networked ICT Resource Centre. This centre is fully stocked with modern computers, audio visual equipment, and internet which makes the students familiar with the modern education aids. Also, the college has guestroom amenities for the/visiting faculty besides upgrading amenities for students’ families/visitors. 

Shanti Amar Singh College of Education focuses solely on teacher education, offering one full-time course: the Batches of the Bachelor of Education (B.Ed) programme. 

The admission of students in Shanti Amar Singh College of Education is given to those candidates on merit as per the scores achieved in the qualifying examination along with the performance in the entrance examination.
