Shanti Sashktikaran Mahavidyalya is an affiliated college established in the year 2002, located in Sidhuvapar, Barhalganj, Gorakhpur, in the state of Uttar Pradesh spread in a campus of 5.261 acres of land. This college has got approval from the National Council for Teacher Education (NCTE), and therefore the college assures quality training for teachers. This college has a total student enrolment of 445 and a faculty strength of 28, maintaining a good student–teacher ratio. Shanti Sashktikaran Mahavidyalya offers one degree programme in teacher education and, accordingly, is committed to shaping future educators.

Shanti Sashktikaran Mahavidyalya college boasts of a host of facilities that serve to enhance the learning experience of the students. A good library, in the college, provides ample scope for learning and helps students in their academic pursuits. Currently, there is one full-time course at Shanti Sashktikaran Mahavidyalya: the Bachelor of Education (B.Ed.) course, which is a two-year course with an intake of 100 seats approved by NCTE. The college is focused on teacher training, and by this course, a student would be equipped with the proper skills and knowledge to become an effective educator. 

The admission at Shanti Sashktikaran Mahavidyalya is been purely done on a merit basis based on the marks secured in the examination passed and/or entrance examination. The college considered the principles defined by the Government of UP and affiliated university for the admission.
