Shanti Shiksha Niketan Mahila Mahavidyalaya is a women's higher education-oriented college. The foundation stone of the college was laid in 2012. An affiliated college, the institute has been imparting education to students for over a decade now. The college is situated right in the heart of Varanasi at Sindhora Bazar and has a compact campus of 1.35 acres. With an enrolment of 416 students and a faculty strength of 10, the institute supports an intimate learning environment.

Shanti Shiksha Niketan Mahila Mahavidyalaya currently offers only one-degree programme , which it derives from its aim for focused education. It was approved with an intake capacity of 420 seats as a testament to the potential capacity of the college to accept a high number of students hoping for tertiary education. Providing holistic liberal arts training through learning opportunities that may empower a student with education-endorsing skills for critical thinking, cultural awareness, and an eclectic knowledge base applicable to numerous career paths is the intended purpose of the BA programme .
