Shanti Sudama Smarak PG College, the institution started in the year 2008 is affiliated to auxiliary college situated in Azamgarh, Uttar Pradesh. The institution provides 10 programmes in six degree-courses with total credit enrolment being 973. Affiliated to the National Council for Teacher Education (NCTE) the college offers Undergraduate and Postgraduate courses in various fields. Though quantitative rank data was not obtained the college’s embracement of education is manifested by courses and facilities it provides. The college is located at Amaura (Gosai ki Bazar), Azamgarh presently providing higher education in the campus. 

Shanti Sudama Smarak PG College houses a number of amenity structures aimed at improving the learning environment of the students. Here in the centre is the ground floor library which displays over 15000 texts and reference books along with on line journals and magazines. It also has well equipped well equipped laboratories for practical lessons in the different disciplines so as to meet the technological requirements of its students. For physical development there are sports facilities to provide to students. This has been made possible through the colleges IT system that will provide students with modern technologies. Classrooms are large that can house many students with adequate amenities and furniture Books, magazines and newspapers are read in large halls and an auditorium serves as a conference centre.

Shanti Sudama Smarak PG College already teaches ten courses: five undergraduate and five postgraduate ones. The offered courses fall in the different fields including Education, Arts, Commerce, Science among others. B.Ed, D.El.Ed; Full time BA;B.com; B.Sc;, and different MA classes in Sociology, Home Science, Hindi, English, and Geography etc. The B.Ed programme which is a flagship course in the college has been approved for one hundred seats. For this reason, although there is no precise data regarding part time activities, distance education, and certification courses, the college targets mainly regular full time education. The total number of students offered across all the courses is 973 those are the number of students that this institution of learning can accommodate.

Like many other colleges of the country, admission process at Shanti Sudama Smarak PG College also differs from course to course. Candidates should have passed B.Ed/D.El.Ed to be eligible for this programme In case of SC/ST/OBC candidates they should have passed in the qualifying examination and/or entrance examination. We also have to follow state government, U.T. Administration, and university’s selection policies and standard operating procedures.
