Shantiniketan College of Science and Management Studies, Bangalore, is one of the famous colleges which was started in the year of 2007. This is an affiliated college located at BM Road, Vivekananda Nagara where the college offer various Science and Commerce courses for undergraduate studies. In total, the college has 409 students which mean that it will be able to offer focused learning to the students. The institute offers three full-time programmes, B.Com, BCA, and B.Sc.

The college has also invested in physical infrastructures that can complement students’ learning activities. There are adequate and well equipped laboratories namely for Physics, Chemistry and Biology for practical demonstration in sciences. IT facilities available to the students include an advanced computer laboratory with an installed LAN connection and a 24-hours UPS backup. For overall growth of the students and to cater to social service, the college has formed the Red Cross Society, NSS and Rotaract Club; out of which, the club-members celebrate each and every National and state fest.

At present, the college offers total three course of under graduation full time course out of it. These include the Bachelor of Commerce (B.Com), the Bachelor of computer applications (BCA) and the Bachelor of Science (B. Sc). The total student capacity on all the programmes offered is 409. This suggest a favourable student to course enrolment ratio, which might lead to increased student-faculty interaction.
