SPCOE Pune: Admission, Courses, Fees, Placements

Located in Dumberwadi, Otur, Junnar, Pune, Maharashtra, Sharadchandra Pawar College of Engineering was established in the year 2009. This affiliated college is approved by the All India Council for Technical Education and accredited by the National Assessment and Accreditation Council. SPCOE has 5 courses across 2 degrees with a total student intake of 216. The faculty strength at the institute is 32. SPCOE deals with engineering streams like Electronics and Telecommunication, Computer Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, and VLSI and Embedded Systems.

SPCOE has a multitude of facilities enriching the student's experience at the college. It has different boy's and girl's hostels which accommodate 200 students each. All the rooms are well furnished with attached bath arrangements and hot water facility. It has a college library that is a knowledge hub, with a diverse collection of printed and electronic materials in the form of books, journals, and video lectures. There is a big reading hall for a conducive study environment. SPCOE boasts excellent IT infrastructure with 20 Mbps leased line internet connectivity and Wi-Fi across the campus. Laboratories are well-equipped to hold practical learning experiences.

In all, SPCOE offers 5 courses: undergraduate and postgraduate programmes. The institute offers 3 full-time Bachelor of Engineering (BE) programmes and 2 full-time Master of Engineering (ME) programmes. All the courses have a total approved intake of 138 students. At the Under Graduate level, the BE Programmes are in Electronics and Telecommunication Engineering, Computer Engineering, and Mechanical Engineering, each with 30 seats. It offers ME programs in Computer Engineering and VLSI and Embedded Systems for postgraduate studies, with 24 seats each.

The admission procedure at SPCOE is primarily based on entrance examinations. The college accepts the scores of Joint Entrance Examination – JEE Main as well as the Maharashtra Common Entrance Test for admission to its undergraduate programs in MHT CET. It is with ultra-modern facilities and a highly diversified structure of courses that Sharadchandra Pawar College of Engineering wishes to offer an all-rounded engineering education.
