Sharda Narayan Institute of Nursing and Paramedical Sciences, Mau, was setup in the year 2018, which is a self- financing institute solely to impart education in nursing in the state of Uttar Pradesh. This is a co-educational institution situated in Mau which is affiliated in nursing and paramedical sciences as per approval of the Indian Nursing Council (INC). The institute, situated in just 2.39 acres, presently teaches two conventional, distinct courses with a combined strength of 80. The institute’s academic offering consist an Auxiliary Nurse Midwifery (ANM) and General Nursing and Midwifery (GNM). The ANM course takes two years with an intake capacity of 40 students and GNM course is a three-year programme and has an intake capacity of 20 students. Both courses are distinct precisely for the reason that they equip students with necessary theoretical and practical knowledge necessary to become a successful nurse. Overall enrollment is similar to the capacity intake of 80 reflecting a high demand for the services of the institute and the utilization of the available human and material resources for education.
