SRBS Mumbai Admission 2025: Dates, Registration, Fees, Eligibility

The Sheila Raheja School of Business Management and Research, popularly known as SRBS Mumbai, is an AICTE approved institution in the Bandra East area of Mumbai. It has a number of undergraduate and postgraduate courses that include management, multimedia, etc. Admission process at SRBS Mumbai: A combination of entrance exams, academic performance, and other criteria particular to each course is followed in selecting meritorious candidates.

The institute normally initiates the admission process for the academic year commencing in August-September. The admissions into the SRBS Mumbai are offered based on the scores obtained in various entrance examinations conducted at the national level, which vary as per the programme. For the MMS, scores are accepted from the MAH-MBA/MMS-CET, CAT, CMAT, GMAT, MAT, ATMA, and XAT.

BMS, BA in Multimedia and Mass Communication etc. As a matter of policy, admissions are merit-based, keeping in view the candidate's performance in their 10+2 examinations. Ph. D. Programme in Management are separately managed and contain the PET conducted by Mumbai University.

Application Process

The application procedure for SRBS Mumbai varies from program to program:

For MMS program:

1. Qualify one of the accepted entrance exams: MAH-MBA/MMS-CET, CAT, CMAT, GMAT, MAT, ATMA, or XAT.
2. Check the official website of SRBS Mumbai and fill out the application form for MMS.
3. Pay the application fee.
4. Submit the application form along with all other required documents.
5. Shortlisted students may be sent for further levels of selection through group discussion, personal interview etc.

For BMS and BA in Multimedia and Mass Communication :

1. Follow the official application link on SRBS Mumbai site.
2. Fill up application form for required course.
3. Pay an application fee through notification.
4. Submit wholly filled up the application form by attaching 10+2 marks sheets and certificate.
5. Waiting for the institute to release the merit list.

For Ph.D. in Management:

1. Qualify in PET conducted by Mumbai University or have the exemption required, GATE/NET/SET/M.Phil./JRF.
2. Wait for the admission notification at SRBS website after the declaration of the PET results.
3. Apply for the selection interview at the SRBS Research Centre.
4. Short listed applicants are given an opportunity to prepare and present a research proposal before registration with University of Mumbai.
5. Submit all the paper work of formalities of the admission as dictated by the institution.

Degree wise Admission Process

MMS programme- Master of Management Studies.

• The MMS programme at SRBS Mumbai will intake 120 seats. Eligibility for getting admitted to this course depends on candidates' performance at one of the following entrance examinations- MAH-MBA/MMS-CET, CAT, CMAT, GMAT, MAT, ATMA, and XAT. Applicants must obtain a non-zero positive score at any one of these entrance exams in order to seek eligibility. If a candidate succeeds, then subsequent stages may consist of group discussion or personal interviews as well.

BMS (Bachelor of Management Studies):

• The BMS course admission is done based on merit. Candidates with 10+2 or equivalent from a recognized board are eligible for the same. The choice depends on the marks scored in the qualifying examination. However, additional rounds of selection may be held by the institute if required.

BA in Multimedia and Mass Communication:

• This undergraduate program is merit-based. Candidates who have passed the 10+2 or equivalent examination are eligible for applying. Primarily, selection is made based on the academic performance in the qualifying examination.

Ph.D. in Management:

• The doctoral program at SRBS Mumbai is quite rigorous. For admission, candidates are expected to clear the Ph.D. Entrance Test PET conducted by Mumbai University in the subject of Management Studies.  Those who have completed GATE/NET/SET/M.Phil./JRF examinations in relevant subjects from recognized bodies like CSIR/UGC/ICAR/ICMR/DBT are exempted from the entrance test. Selected candidates after PET must appear for an interview at SRBS Research Centre. The final selection is based on the candidate's performance in the interview and their research proposal.
