The Sheila Raheja School of Business Management and Research is popularly known as SRBS Mumbai. It has a number of undergraduate and postgraduate courses that include management, multimedia, etc. SRBS Mumbai admission process: A combination of entrance exams, academic performance, and other criteria particular to each course is followed in selecting meritorious candidates.
The SRBS Mumbai normally initiates the admission process for the academic year commencing in August-September. The SRBS Mumbai admissions are offered based on the scores obtained in various entrance examinations conducted at the national level, which vary as per the programme. For the MMS, scores are accepted from the MAH-MBA/MMS-CET, CAT, CMAT, GMAT, MAT, ATMA, and XAT.
BMS, BA in Multimedia and Mass Communication, etc. As a matter of policy, SRBS Mumbai admissions are merit-based, keeping in view the candidate's performance in their 10+2 examinations. Ph.D. programmes in management are separately managed and contain the PET conducted by Mumbai University.
The MMS programme at SRBS Mumbai will intake 120 seats. Eligibility for getting admitted to this course depends on candidates' performance at one of the following entrance examinations: MAH-MBA/MMS-CET, CAT, CMAT, GMAT, MAT, ATMA, and XAT. Applicants must obtain a non-zero positive score at any one of these entrance exams in order to seek eligibility. If a candidate succeeds, then subsequent stages may consist of group discussion or personal interviews as well.
The BMS course admission is done based on merit. Candidates with 10+2 or equivalent from a recognised board are eligible for the same. The choice depends on the marks scored in the qualifying examination. However, additional rounds of selection may be held by the institute if required.
The college offers Ph.D. in Management programme. For SRBS Mumbai admission, candidates are expected to clear the Ph.D. Entrance Test conducted by Mumbai University in the subject of Management Studies. Those who have completed GATE/NET/SET/M.Phil./JRF examinations in relevant subjects from recognised bodies like CSIR/UGC/ICAR/ICMR/DBT are exempted from the entrance test. Selected candidates after PET must appear for an interview at the SRBS Research Centre. The final selection is based on the candidate's performance in the interview and their research proposal.
